I hope you will take the time to read the following article about my Mom’s passing, about my call to prepare the Way for Jesus’ Second Coming, then remember all of the believers now waiting to greet you in the halls of heaven.
The Circle of Time – Jesus Returns on His 2025th Birthday
My mother died January 16, 2020.
In 2019, I visited Mom on my 68th birthday in October. And then again, on her 92nd birthday in December. I live in Fuquay-Varina, NC and Mom lived on Lake Norman, just north of Charlotte, with my brother David. On my visit in October, we talked about heaven, about reuniting with her family in heaven, and about all the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that she fostered in the family of Jesus Christ here on earth. My brother Dan, his wife, and his mother-in-law joined David, me, and Mom’s Hospice Care Givers in our celebration of Mom’s last birthday on December 31, 2019.
On the morning of January 16, 2020, David called and shared Mom’s last moments on earth as he and her Care Givers gathered round and sang hymns as Mom left to join her waiting family in heaven. And as Don Piper wrote in his book 90 Minutes in Heaven, Mom then sang with her family and with the angels in the halls of heaven.
My sister was born January 16, 1953.
My sister, Nita, died in her crib on May 5, 1953. My parents discovered her silent body as she lay strangled by the wide gap slats in her crib. I will never know what sorrow they must have felt. But my Mom always credited their Minister with nurturing them back to a new life filled with a lifelong grief. For he visited them and offered words of comfort and prayer every afternoon for over 2 months. Nita’s remains lay in rest at the Oakwood Cemetery near my childhood home in Hickory, NC. Some years later, my Dad asked my brother Dan to have Nita’s remains moved to the Bethel Church Cemetery in Cornelius, NC to join he and Mom after they both died. And I wonder, did Mom and Dad then join with Nita in heaven on January 16, 2020.
These dates remind us that The Circle of Time keeps spinning, as we find our lives constantly changed by the births, the events in human history, and the deaths that forever mark the points along our way. Probably, two of the best know journeyman on The Circle of Time were John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson ushered in the birth of the United States of America when they formulated and sought signatures for our Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776. Oh, what pains of childbirth did these two men bear: they argued, they suffered, they risk everything, to bring these 13 colonies together in a clear and prefect union, as King George looked on planning for their execution. But, somehow, The Circle of Time enclosed these men and the history of this “One Nation Under God” evolved.
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died July 4, 1826.
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson served this nation as founders, as statesmen, as farmers, as friends, and as presidents until their deaths 50 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. On his passing at approximately 6:20 pm on July 4, 1826, John Adams stated, “Only Jefferson remains.” Adams did not realize that Jefferson died a few hours earlier and that he was the last remaining signer of the Declaration.
For me, The Circle of Time forever spins around July 4th.
An Aunt and my Ex-wife were both born on July 4th. My oldest cousin was born on July 3rd. Once even, my aunt’s family celebrated her 80th birthday at our family home in Blowing Rock, NC. And as my cousin rode up the mountain to my aunt’s party, he joyously sang, “Happy Birthday to me,” as no one had organized a party for him. My grandfather was born on July 5th and two of my granddaughters were born July 2nd and July 5th.
My Dad died July 4, 2007.
As I held his hand and prayed in the ICU, my Dad died a little after midnight on the morning of July 4, 2007. My Ex-wife was at our family’s home in Blowing Rock with my son and his in-laws, and when I told her of his death, her response was, “Why did he wait to die on my birthday? Now everyone will remember July 4th as the day your Dad died and not as my birthday.” Once again, the cycle of life and death, celebration and suffering, singing and sadness meet each other spinning around on The Circle of Time.
I was born October 22, 1951. And I was born again October 24, 1982.
There was a Jewish leader named Nicodemus, who belonged to the party of the Pharisees. One night he went to see Jesus and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher sent by God. No one could perform the miracles you are doing unless God were with him.”
Jesus answered, “I am telling you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God without being born again.”
“How can a grown man be born again?” Nicodemus asked. “He certainly cannot enter his mother’s womb and be born a second time.”
“I am telling you the truth,” Jesus replied, “that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit. Do not be surprised because I tell that you must all be born again. The wind blows wherever it wishes; you hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. It is like that with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:1-8.
The doorbell rang at seven o’clock on September 19, 1982. I opened the front door of our home on Wildleaf Court in Charlotte, NC to find a policeman standing on the porch. He then took me to the police station and arrested me for hit-and-run. My father bailed me out of jail. Then a few weeks later, I suffered an anxiety attack. My 31st birthday, October 22, 1982, was a week away, and my life was spinning out of control. For my birthday, my wife baked a cake and sang “Happy Birthday” with our sons.
Two days later, on October 24, 1982, I was born again.
In the shower that morning, I asked God to take control of my life. Then, as I lay curled in a fetal position on the shower floor, the Holy Spirit filled me with a new life and I was born again as John the apostle from the Bible. And now The Circle of Time spans two thousand years and the Kingdom of God surrounds the story of humanity.
I still remember our last hour with Jesus on the shores of Lake Tiberias. Peter, Andrew, Nathanael, Thomas, Matthew, my older brother James, and I fished through the night to escape our fear of the authorities. When dawn broke, our nets were empty as we approached the beach near Mensa Christi. Then, from the shore, Jesus called out, “Young men haven’t you caught anything?”
“Not a thing,” Thomas answered.
“Throw your net out on the right side of the boat and you will catch some,” Jesus instructed.
Andrew cast the net out on the right side, and we could not pull it back in, because it now filled with 153 fish.
I shouted, “It is the Lord!” And Peter, who was naked while we fished, put his clothes back on, dived into the water, and swam ashore. When we stepped ashore, we saw a charcoal fire with fish on it and some bread. Jesus then invited us to, “Come and eat.”
This, then, was the third time Jesus appeared to us after he was raised from death.
After breakfast, Jesus pressed Peter to a higher level of service when he questioned him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
“Yes, Lord,” Peter answered, “You know that I love you.”
Jesus said to him, “Take care of my lambs.” A second time Jesus said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
“Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know that I love you.”
Jesus said to him, “Take care of my sheep.” A third time Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter became sad because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” and so he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you!”
Jesus said to him, “Take care of my sheep. I am telling you the truth: when you were young, you used to get ready and go anywhere you wanted to; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will tie you up and take you where you don’t want to go.” (In saying this, Jesus was indicating the way in which Peter would die and bring glory to God.) Then Jesus said to him, “Follow me!”
Frustrated, Peter turned around, looked at me, and said, “Lord, what about this man?”
Jesus answered him, “If I want him to live until I come, what is that to you? Follow me!”
So a report spread among the followers of Jesus that I would not die. But Jesus did not say I would not die; he said, “If I want him to live until I come, what is that to you?” John Chapter 21.
And The Circle of Time now finds me here today waiting for Jesus to return to Galilee on His Birthday September 19, 2022.
Jesus the Christ was born on September 19, 03 BC.
As I slept in my Mom’s house at Lake Norman on August 19, 2017, God revealed to me in a dream that Jesus was born on September 19, 03 BC.
Jesus the Christ returns on September 19, 2022.
As I have reported on my website www.dazzlinglight.org about Jesus’ Second Coming, God revealed to me in my third dream of Jesus’ Second Coming that he would flew to earth on a cloud and land on the earth and stone stage off Highway 92 in the northeast corner of Lake Tiberius, just a few hundred feet from where we saw him return to heaven on a cloud after he feed us this breakfast of bread and fish.
In January of 2005, The Circle of Time spun me back to Galilee as Jesus called me to return to this familiar land, to find this earth and stone stage, and to write the book Is Your Church Heavenly? A Question from Christ for Every Christian.
Now, I find myself caught inside The Circle of Time as we all spin toward one of the most important moments in human history. For today, Jesus the Christ waits on the northern horizon and prepares to complete the circle of human history when he returns to the earth and stone stage on his 2025th birthday September 19, 2022.
